For years we have gathered downtown after the Clear Lake parade on the Fourth. We start in the park where we eat corn dogs, tenderloins or funnel cakes then take a short stroll to the seawall. Some years the crowd was bigger but we still have lots of fun. Photography and conversation by the lake is a good time every year, especially with the mild weather this year.
