We have been doing a Family Friday on the day after Thanksgiving instead of Black Friday. Thanksgiving gets busy with work or other family functions so a few years ago we started to gather the Friday after Thanksgiving. We don't have turkey or huge meal preparations but we do have lots of fun and good food. Lincoln obviously wasn't invited to join in this game of Chinese Checkers but he had fun too.
We all made our own individual pizzas to please every palate; lots of meats, lots of veggies and tons of cheese too! The pizza was good but the pumpkin cheesecake was even better. I just love days where everyone is just hanging out around the house; holiday or not!
