Uncle Jay surprised Lincoln with a jumbo sized package of animal crackers on Saturday. Lincoln was thrilled and Mowgli was hopeful. The best part was getting the family together for an unplanned and snowy Saturday afternoon. We all met for lunch then agreed that cookies sounded good. I baked a big batch of chocolate chip cookies and later everyone gathered and enjoyed warm cookies. It was a wonderful and relaxing time with the kids. Lincoln loves spending time with family and the animal crackers were a bonus.
